How do you play possession football?

Im on patch 11.3,
Does anyone actually know what the best team instructions and player instructions is to play good possession football?

I'd love to be able to pass the ball a lot for every player, but there is so many adjustments to use, what is the best?

will do, just in the middle of making a good possession tactic and so far ive played 2 games, had 74% possession against reserves and 63% against Cruz Azul just hoping it will stay high

Back to the topic, you should play narrow and through the middle. Tempo, time wasting etc are optional.

ive downloaded yours mate, its on my match preperation, was just comparing mine with yours and its quite similar only i think yours produces more passes, which is what i want to improve

Actually, I don't focus on individual player passing. As long as my team get high possession, I think it's enough.
But yeah, sometimes I want to improve their passes.

i just think of it as, as long as we have possession, the opposition does not.
