How far have you been into the game?

I was just wondering how many years you have managed for? And has anyone got so old they have retired, added a new manger, retired with him and added a new one etc, so you are hundreds of seasons in?
 
The furthest I have been is 2020/2011 season but beyond a certain number of seasons the game is boring as all the known players retire and you have to play with a world full of regens
 
Yeah I usually end the game once it gets to around 2020 to 2025.
You don't need to retire with a manager though, there's no limit to their age.
 
2019/2020 was also as far as I got, though I was LOVING it. Gens > real players, I dont have to see Wayne f'ing Rooney everywhere picking up awards despite the fact he's ****. I knew all my regens and their history and the game was the BOY, then my computer crashed and it died :(
