How important is the role of player?


For example, if I set to an "advance playmaker" the same "player instructions" by default of an "anchor man"
(so tackles hard, much pressing, defensive mentality etc etc) it will equivalent in every respect to an anchor man or just because it is an advanced playmaker he'll movements of his own role ?


(it was just an example, of course, is the same question for a poacher "set as" target man or playmaker "set as" inside forward .. etc. .. etc)

So do you mean if you altered the player instructions & sliders of an advanced playmaker to the very same as a anchor man, would he play like a AP or a anchor? If that's what you're asking it's the latter.

So ultimately the player roles are just simple names, do not make specific movements for each role ..

Based on my personal opinion, I think it matters. Just a thought though..

The player roles are just presets, if you plan on changing all the sliders they don't matter a huge amount.
