how long does a season normally take to you?

well, i really enjoy this game, i love it, but i always end up quitting after 1-2 seasons, i kinda wanna grow my wonderkids and that stuff, but i always feel the game goes too slow :@ worst part is i always end up coming back to the game after some time, but i cant continue my saves because i dont remember what i was doing at all, my players, things i had to do, etc etc, so yeah, thats more or less what happens...

so im just asking, how long does it normally take to go thru a season for you? what keeps you from getting bored after a few seasons?

just to make it clear, im NOT saying the game goes slow and its something to be fixed, but maybe its the way im playing it or im just too impatient, just curious how it goes to everybody else..
 
3-4 weeks now. Under pressure from the missus lol
 
i have a life out side fm, so i play like from noon till midnight, with a break at 5pm, and dinner at 7.
plus i stop and plya othre gmaes and then go back to fm again.
 
A little over a week. Can do about 14 - 20 games over the weekend if I havenothing going on, but then only 1-3 a night during the week. I set myself a target, that keeps me going. But I also find that once I achieve my goal, that save is over, whether it be winning the Prem with an average team (Everton, Villa) or taking a Blue Square North/South team to the prem.
 
Sometimes a week, sometimes less, but usually more (gotta go to work and earn a living, unfortunately). But I get bored with most games easily, so I prefer to spread them out and not overdo them, if that makes sense, cause I have been very annoyed when I finish a good game quickly and have nothing else to play :) It happens sometimes that I really can't stop playing and it gets bright out, me still doing that, no sleep whatsoever, but not anymore given that I am so ****** tired after working that I can't seem to do anything.

Usually takes me about 12 hours play time to go from pre-season to the end of the season but depends entirely on how fast my computer feels like processing on the day. But you're right, the game does go very slow but it is meant to replicate an entire football season so you can understand why it takes longer than an hour like it does on FIFA manager.

Network game with three people takes 3-4 days for a season depending on how long we play for a day.

If I play by myself pre-season takes around 2-3 hours, sorting tactics, player signings and staff out as well as getting rid of deadwood. After that can usually get through a season in 10-12 hours depending on cup runs etc.
 
9-10 days in school times, 4-5 days in holidays, however i've just got my fm fixed so i just had a 2 day season!
 
I would say about 12 hours play time for the first season (setting up training, getting backroom staff, tweaking tactics), and about 10-11 for following seasons unless I move club.
 
Honestly it often takes me about 12 hours if i continuously play it, but if you are really into it and pay more attention to preview your opponents, changing your tactics as agreeable as possible and having private chat with players, it will take your longer to complete your season.
 
Usually it takes a week. If I start a lot of saves, then I don't reach it. Just started to control the reserves/B team, and the youth squad, so it's more time. Let's say, it's a lot of time for me.
 
1-2 weeks or about two hours if I holiday it (1 hour 40 minutes to do transfers etc., 20 minutes to holiday).
 
It takes me about 2-3 weeks. I like my game to be detailed
 
how do the guys who take 12 hours do it so fast? do you watch games at all? how does it go exactly, ive always wondered, some days ive spent the whole day playing without even reaching half season :|
 
since ive got my new laptop ive just rattled a season off in 8 hours! that was with all leagues from england, italy and spain loaded on large database.
 
My game time is 13 days, and I'm in the 2016/17 season... so it takes me just under 2 days to do a season (thats me guessing with my below average mathematical skills)...

I always leave FM running though if i'm doing other stuff, example wake up on saturday, go on FM, leave FM minimised once soccer am starts, watch some matches, then go back on FM, so i'm leaving it running through all of that so I don't really know my real time tbh, i'm guessing about 12 - 15 hours per season roughly

I could have a season done between 9 hours not to long really and that is playing others game as well
