Anyone with experience of how much cash prize is given per position, for a Premiership league finish?
I think it used to be something like £500k per position up from the bottom, as a general rule - so finishing 8th would pay £6m for example, in FM09.
The reason I'm asking, is assuming my club (Newcastle United) doesn't go into admin and I'm not sacked due to **** financial performance (not my fault, I'm within all budget limits!), I need to review long and short term objectives.
I think I get about £9m in sponsorship per season right now, not sure on TV rights or season ticket sales, these are figures I can check tomorrow - but I would like to have an idea of the cash incentives of finishing high up the table......
