How online game saving works

If I have played online with someone but wasn't the host am I able to acquire the save file for our game?

Also, in order to use the fm genie scout 17 in online games do you need to be the host of the game in order to do so, if not, how would do you go about doing this?

You can't really grab the save file from an online game unless you're the host, or if the game has a feature that lets players share it. As for FM Genie Scout, you don’t need to be the host to use it, but you do need the save file. If you're not the host, you’d have to ask them for the save after the game or use cloud saves if that's an option. I’ve done something similar before with friends, just make sure the host is okay with sharing it.
