How to create a player in editor?

in the editor, click on people and click add which ha have a drop down menu click player and you will be able create a player.

It is better to either enter in the CA and PA amounts or using the -# series (-10CA would be world superstar, -9 A little less and so on)

I would leave the individual attributes alone as they are liable to change immediately anyway based on the CA and PA values.
