How to get the best out of Kadlec and Sanogo?

I finished my first season with Wigan in 12th position so I brought Kadlec and Sanogo in but atm am struggling to see why everyone is giving them so much praise, is it just a question of age? Have I put them straight into the first team to early? What training can I give them to help them improve?

I play a 4-3-3 formation and they start alongside Mauro Boselli, who scores most of my goals

Play Kadlec as a poacher and he will take off after a year or 2. In my 6th season now and he averages over a goal a game.
As for Sanogo im not sure, maybe play his as an advanced forward but im not sure as i havnt bought him myself.
