How to import a saved game on another PC

I'm not sure how to take a copy of a saved game and load it into FM on another PC.

Go into Documents> sports interactive> FM11> games. In there will be your saves, drag them to a USB.

did this work? do you know how to actually get it to work on another installed version? I have just got a new pc, copied the save game file over, tried to load it but it says the load has failed...! I'm in my 5th season.. gutted.
