How to install a game on 360 and play without disc?

Basically my fifa disc is broke so I thought if I installed game to the hard drive and played it I could play fine without the disc, but it still says "you must insert the disc to play the game" or something like that. Any help?

if you install it on to your Hard Drive, you can still play them game if it gets scratched but you always need the disc to play it.
