How to make your CM a goal scoring machine?

Been trying since the begining of FM14 to make one of my CM's score lots of goals. Only managed to do it when a play a [CM-DM-CM] combo. My favourite team is Arsenal and I've really struggled to make Ramsey score goals when Ozil is on the pitch and was playing AMC.
Was hoping someone could give me some advice if they have already succeeded in this task.

I usually get the midfielder who i want to score goals to go forward, this usually gets me goals from midfield. You could also get your striker to hold up play to get the midfield to support the attack, usually the end up scoring even more than the striker.

Oh, it also depends on your midfielder too, they might not be capable of scoring as much

If he has good finishing and composure, train the "place shots" ppm and delight yourself seeing him scoring like mad !!!

I find the AP attack with roam from position the most effective role for an all round attack minded CM
