How to make your Freekick taker shoot and NOT pass all the time?

Hi, I'm new to the forums...

Now to the important stuff, I am currently managing Man Utd - 4th on the leaugue and my star player is in fact Cristiano Ronaldo... He is my top scorer followed by Rooney and then Nani, but every time I get a freekick in the oppositions half and is in clear shooting distance... He always lays off or passes. how can I instruct him to shoot, are their any tactics for this?

BTW I have put C.Ronaldo on a strict training regime, forcing him to train specifically on his ball control shooting and free kicks.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

maybe try to interact with him and ask him to try to shoot more often! or set in player instructions. just a thought!? ))

Are you sure its not becuase its an indirect fk?
