I set custom schedules for each player like for example, Adria Carmona. For him, he is a winger so I set a custom training schedule for him and not just use Tugs training or whatever.

So as you can see he hardly gets injuries from triainng.

Yeah he's my main success story, if you ask me for any particular player which I can be "proud" of.
 
To prevent injuries from training my advice is to not place too much emphasis on Aerobic and Strength training. As you can see from the screenies my training schedules are one click away from heavy but the Aerobic and Strength training are only barely at medium, but yet their physical stats still increase/improve.
 
Got a 532 that won me the league and champions league, comfortably dominating possession and the leagues highest goalscorer steam achievement. 3 dc's, 2 cwb, 2 mcs, 1amc, 2 strikers.
 
Erm for youngsters I normally just leave them on the general youth schedule till they turn pro

Oh......For opposition instructions I normally leave it to my ***. man, and when the half ends, ask for your ***. man's opinion again. :) Hope I helped
