How to play via steam?

I bought fm16 on my old laptop. Now I have bought a mac, but it does not have a disc drive. I looked around on steam, but can`t seem to figure out how to play (or find my old saves). Do I have to also buy the game digitally to play it on my mac? I`m sorry, I`m not exactly an expert on computers

Assuming you activated the game on steam, you should be able to:

- Download and install the Steam client
- Login to the Steam client
- See the game in your "Games Library" in Steam
- Click the game there and press install
