How to rekindle that FM bug?

I like many others have bought FM11 and was lucky enough to get it a day early but ive started save after save since release and cant seem to get into it like before.. Obviously i have the odd patch where i dont play FM for a month or so but not till a couple of months after release!

Anyone got any tips on how to catch that bug again?

I'm with you on this, I couldn't get into it, I kept restarting after a couple of months playing.. Never had this problem on the older FM's but luckily got into a game with Leicester and enjoying FM again I'd say just keep trying different teams and eventually you'll catch that contagious bug again mate.

Yeah I was really struggling to get into it. Tried with a number of sides and it just wasn't fun.

Now in a game with Manchester United and really enjoying it, so hopefully I can make it last a long time!

best way is to start it on a weekend. when you can slowly but also devote loads of time to it

I was in the same position as you, but me and a few mates decided to all manage the same team and do best. I cant get off the game now though, I need to get rid of the bug <)

Yeah, I've had to try out quite a few sides before settling on a save. Also went with Leicester, just got promoted so hopefully I can make it last.

I too had this problem, but then found the light that is Leicester!

I am now in the 2nd season, ploughing the premier league!

Did a season with Newcastle. Couldn't get into it.

Did a couple of months with Man Utd and couldn't get into it.

Now playing as Arsenal, top of the table in January!

Also reading other peoples stories sometimes helps! You can do it

This. I find watching Premier League Years on SS during "sick days" off school always makes me want to get into a good game of FM

Unsure, I have been in exile for a few years now! Back then stories were rife, filled with all follies and frivolities! Proper horror-show!

<) Following a quick search, appears their are still a few devoted raconteurs. Unfortunatley it appears to have become more fact fact fact and less fiction!

Granted my neanderthal information involved crude banging on keys in google search *other search engines available*

:wub: for the creative tales, I may just rekindle this long lost tradition and begin a fictions concoction weaved from tears and sweat!

Don't play it for a year. I don't think I even completed one whole season on FM10, bought FM11 and I'm hooked again.
