How to sign stubborn players?

I am playing with man city and winner of the league for continuous two seasons and champions league finalist!
in my third season chelsea are going mid table and terry is unhappy for being fined but he still won't join my team!
when i declare interest in him he says he is in dillema whether to join my team or not!
Can anyone tell me how do i sign such players who just won't flinch?

I wouldnt go for him tho even if u did end up signing him he would prob only ;ast a season.

i think u guys r right, he is 31!
but he is one of my favourites and i just wanted to sign him for that!
can u suggest any good defendrs equal to him?

Well Luiz started at the club cuz I was using the LFC marshall update.
Jan Vertonghen who is in my sig plays very well more of a ball playing defender tho but is very versatile.
