I'm looking for a tactic that people have used in lesser footballing nations, i.e. Norway, Croatia, Slovenia etc. I find that I can make a small team the best in the country - but can't make progress in Europe.
In Croatia, there is no money for winning any domestic trophy. I win the league and cup most seasons, but can't get far in Europe, so my team have stagnated a little. I see some tactics do well with smaller teams, but only in big leagues like England, Spain, Germany etc. Has anyone won the Champions League with a unfancied nation's team? If so, what tactic did it for you?
