So, the team/teams you support/like is performing well this season? you expected better? worse?

Well, 1st - Leeds United... I am not sure what to say... We are 9th at the moment when we were always 6th+ in the rest of the season (almost) but 9th at this time isn't bad, because we came back from League 1 , and for a 1st season in the championship we're doing pretty good.. 3 points away from the play off.. But... It's still possible.

Porto - Dominating like i was hoping, won the portuguese league in Benfica stadium, we're in the portuguese cup final after 2 epic games against benfica, 1st won in our home where we lost for 0-2... But in the 2nd leg at benfica stadium we won 1-3. I went MAD and i was at benfica stadium ahah.

Liverpool - All i am saying: If we had this players and Kenny since the beginning we would probably end top 4.

Belenenses - Well... My hometown team is reallllly bad at the moment, a bit like plymouth argyle, we were releated from 1st to 2nd divisio, we were favorites to go up, and we're fighting for not being relegated to the 3rd division...

So, how about your teams?

Leeds United
Great first season back but unfortunately running out of steam at the end of the season. Attack has been great this season, with Becchio proving the doubters wrong and showing it was not all about Beckford. Somma has been a great surprise and Gradel has really come on. Snodgrass had been as good as ever and I have enjoyed Howson being allowed a more attack minded role, similar to Gerrard for us with driving runs from midfield. If only our defence could match then we would have had back to back promos probably but oh well. Hopefully keep hold of our good attacking players this summer and invest in the defence. Come on Uncle Ken open your wallet!

Wigan - I didn't expect anything more from them.. We had less points than this last season and we were safe[ish] but the league is so tight this year that it's going to be a tough finish but I think we'll pull through! Hoping that the 4 - 2 loss was a minor glitch and need a win against Everton at home.

Newcastle - Excellent return to the Premiership, loking forward to seeing more of Ben Arfa and Tioté, two excellent signings (Ben Arfa was magnificent in his few apperances). Definately safe now and just looking forward to next season.

Chelsea - Not even worth mentioning
Crystal Palace - Mainly disappointing season but im glad that we're not in the drop zone, after spending most of the season in it, doesn't help that we've had like 3 million different managers over the course of it, but we seem to be doing OK now.
CRAWLEY - Very pround of getting to the 5th round of the FA cup, and playing Man Utd of the park (we still lost though :( ) everyone was watching it, so Im very happy about the progress of the town I live in, especially the fact we've already won the blue sq premier so we're gonna be in the football league next season! :D

Moved to appropriate section.

Anyway, things are going exactly as I thought they would at the start of the season.

Blues.

Been a very hit and miss season.
Obviously the Carling Cup win was a memorable occasion for all our fans.(I use that term lightly, because football fans these days are very fickle). But second season syndrome has struck us this year. I believe finishing 9th last year sent ambitions far to high for our fans. The sensible ones, focussing on survival and pushing on next season. I personally expected to finish between 12-16th. The league has been so tight since day one, its difficult to tell who is going down.
I for one, think Blues have enough to stay up, although I think West Ham, Blackburn and possibly Wolves have enough to stay up.

As Tom Ross, (Blues pundit) once said, football is about winning trophies, and not basing your season on survival. If we get relegated, then so be it. I am happy enough with a first major trophy.

I think if we win against Wolves on Sunday, then I think were safe. Been a mixed season overall I feel.
