Pre season update:
No new signings in pre season, here are my results though, in the main season round ups will be more detailed, dont want to analyze friendlies really.
Hull 2-0 Hull reserves ( Muoyokolo Vennegoor of Hesselink)
Hull 4-0 Kidderminster ( Zayatte Vennegoor of Hesselink x2 Ghilas)
Hull 4-0 North Ferriby ( Ghilas x2 Halmosi x2)
Hull 4-1 Bradford ( Vennegoor Of hesselink Halmosi x2 Ghilas)
Hull 4-0 Winterton ( Vennegoor Of Hesselink Gardner Boateng Lovre)
Hull 2-1 Colchester ( Lovre Baldwin(Own goal) )
Hull 1-1 Parma (Lovre)
Hull 5-0 GH Academy ( Vennegoor of Hesselink x2 Zayatte Lovre x2)
A good pre season, seems i have good tactics as we dominated every game, hesselink was injured for parma, have a defensive crisis for the opening game though with gardner, mcshane and zayatte all out, wish me luck in the main season people.
Pre Game: Opening Day:
Hull City vs Blackburn Rovers
Venue: KC Stadium
Hull team news: Hull will be without Paul McShane, Anthony Gardner, Kamil Zayatte, Andy Dawson, Ian Ashbee, Jimmy Bullard and Richard Garcia.
Blackburn team news: Blackburn will be without Vince Grella, David Dunn, Benni McCarthy and Keith Andrews are doubtful for the clash
Hull Line up:
Myhill
Mendy
De Cler
Kilbane
Sonko
Boateng
Lovre
Geovanni
Halmosi
Ghilas
Hesselink
Blackburn Line up:
Brown
Chimbonda
Samba
Khizanhishvili
Givet
N'Zonzi
Emerton
Andrews
Gamst-Pedersen
Diouf
Kalinic
Andy Grays Analysis: I can see this being a draw, Hull would win but the defence crisis has forced them to play kevin kilbane with Ibrahima Sonko at center back.
PS: I will only do this for opening games and huge games, the scoresheet will be in the next post
Hull City 0-1 Blackburn (Benni McCarthy 70)
Honestly i felt seriously disappointed, we were the better team, we played our game, but at the end of the day the midfielders took to many long shots which didnt impress me much at all, but next game will be better
Hull City 5-1 Birmingham ( Olofinjana 17, Ghilas 22/28, Lovre 51, Altidore 74, Larsson 19)
A much better effort, we dominated from start to finish and gave them a really good go, im starting to like ghilas already, he cuts in and sparks a certain ingredient in the team, hes doing amazing. Altidore looked confident as the lone striker so im pleased.
Hull City 1-0 Blackpool ( Geovanni 114)
Honestly not convincing, they had 10 men and took us to extra time, made no changes from the 5-1 win vs Birmingham, but a win is a win at least they didnt go to penalties, Man utd away next, we can win!!
Man Utd 3-0 Hull City (Fletcher 20 Giggs 69 Rooney 85)
Honestly we were hard done by, for periods we were the better team, Hesselinks early goal was disallowed quite rightly for offside, but its good to see man utd finding it hard to break us down, i am being continously pleased by youngster Steven Muoyokolo, hes becoming brilliant when summoned at the back
Thanks for following in the first month, hopefully it can pick up in the 2nd month
