Humam Tariq, can he play as F9?

I have signed Tariq for portsmouth in my first season, i really want to build the team around him and was wondering if anyone has used him as a false nine and how well he plays in this role?

If he has the attributes for the role, he'll be fine.

Thank you all for the replies, I am currently training him to pay as a striker hopefully he will be a bit more comfortable playing there by time I can get a work permit, I will let you know if he plays well
