I can't find my tutee

I have a problem which I hope you can help me find an answer to.

I have some young talents in my team whom I would like a senior player to tutor - usually this is done by choosing the senior player have a chat with him and ask him to tutor the young player you want .... but what to do if the young player does not appear in the list?

had the same problem with my liverpool team, you just have to find someone else to tutor them or wait a season and see if they can then

If there is no way to select Lewis, then I will have to, but I hope someone have an idea.
Did you find that the players became avaible later in your Liverpool save?

nope there is no way to select lewis, try searching through your older players who play in lewis's position and he might come up, yes i do think they became available but in some instances i had to sign an older player just for tutoring which is handy, i signed keissling when he was 34 for tutoring for one of my strikers because my older striker couldn't tutor one of my younger strikers. just be sure to check through all older players

If they have highly different personalities, then he won't be there to select. It's a way of FM giving a helping hand as the chemistry just is not there.

OK - I will try that - do you know why Lewis can be tutored when a player like Nathan Aké with similar squad status and contract can?

I just tried a test, where I bougt Cabaye who is similar to Lewis, but it was still not possible to tutor him... hmm. I guess I just have to let time pass and then hope that Lewis become avaible for tutoring later.

Fair point - I just checked in the game. Lewis has a Balanced personality, so I would think he should be able to me tutored by players with a "more" positive personality suchs as Professionel (Ramires) or Determined (John Obi Mikel), but do you think that Balanced is too far away from Determined or Professionel? It could be

I've definitely tutored balanced with determined/pros.

I'm not sure if I remember this right, but...
I think, if he's currently training a preferred move then he won't be available for tutoring.

I think you are right about that, you can't do both - but I am at the start of the game, so he isn't learning any PPM - I just checked in the game as well - nope - he is on no training...
