i cant manage a national team

im man city and im having a fantastic time im 70 games unbeaten in the premier league and i just signed torres. but i aplied for the england job then i get an email saying england want me i accept the offer then nothing come of it. can anyone help me please
 
You might be manager of both England and Man City at once.
 
well how can i proove it? anyone got a sugestions for whats wrong?
 
all this guy wants is just help regarding his problems. i dont really think there's a need for him to prove his unbeaten streak
 
It's an issue with the original version of the game if you don't have the v10.1 patch. I had the same problem when I applied to be the Ghana boss. You can download the patch from the transfer updates section of this site (it's under Official Patches) then you will have to start a new game with the patch loaded. Once you have done that then the international management issue will be sorted but you won't be able to use your city save.
 
what if you start with an international team, can you manage club aswell
 
If you mention it when its totally irrelevant you have to be ready to prove it too =)
