All is in the title !


I can't stand Messi/Barca/Spain mania anymore... Anyone like me?

I'm so bored of all of this, everytime the same thing..
They keep the ball 5 minutes, accelerate, xavi/iniesta pass the ball to messi/fabregas and goal..

Spanish league level is so low... And when Barca play against physical team (such as Man U, Inter), players cry like wimps...

Make Barca play in Premier League and we will see if Messi never injured or score 35 goals in the same league's season.


I really regret old time with Scholes/Veron/Nedved/Zidane/Giggs/Maldini/Batistuta/Ortega/Shearer/Cantona/Rivaldo/Gerrard/Del Piero/Davids/Kuilvert/Overmars/Rui Costa/Figo/ young Ronaldo (real one)/ (beginning of my discovery of football) ... That was real Football for me.. so do you?


Messi is amazing, that's a fact, but he is devoid of any interest.. (Ronaldo is also annoying but a little more funny)
 
Is the real life or Football manager?

(Yes theyre annoyingly good, specially as a Milan fan and Xavi had to dive to get the win for them recently)
 
barca have proved they are better than man utd an the rest , the only way they cud stop them is by hitting them with dirty challenges and italien football is full of wimps who go down sceaming when somone brushes past them , barca play real proper football , every game , none of this anti football **** , and the english league is **** and far over rated , spanish football is more technical therefore more entertaining , unlike english football which is just physicalwith player just running around banging into each other trying to prove who is stronger or not ..

Lol, Barca well known for their diving! Yes they play great football, doesnt mean every league is ****. How often do you see a team as good as Barca are now? Bit unfair to try and rate every team from every league against them

They aren't entirely unplayable.. Arsenal beat them last season and they have lost a couple this season. The Premier League would probably be too physical for them, but it's never going to happen. Spanish football is quite different to English football.
 
english football is **** eh er i think you need to get some perspective pal, premier league is the most competitive, entertaining league on the planet if you think its all about a physical challeng and players banging into each other you clearly do not watch it

Apart from El Classico, spanish football is SO boring. The only competition is between Barca and Madrid. Look at English Football. 6 teams challenging for the title. 4 teams challenging for that 4th champions league spot and about 6 sides fighting relegation.

COMPLETELY unpredictable.
 
Look at the premier league winners in the last years. It was either ManU or Chelsea and twice Arsenal. It isn't really different from Spain. In the recent years Real and Barça dominated, but before Valencia, Sevilla and Deportivo played also great football. Barça is just above everyone at the moment. Even though they dive sometimes, they play one of the best football of all the time and you should be happy to live in such a era if you're not a Real fan.
If you don't want to watch Barcelona then turn the tv off or watch english football. Spanish football is full of passion and there are some great matches, but most people only watch Real and Barça and then they say that spanish football is ****.
Of course most teams don't have a chance against Real and Barça, but that doesn't mean the other play badly. People who say that are just ignorant and jealous. Of course the premier league is a great league, but there is more than that.
Actually the premier league is ranked above the spanish league, so why do you complain?
Barça outplayed most of the english teams in recent years (ManU, Arsenal) and didn't wimp like you said.

I am completely fed up of all modern day players, simulating dives and injuries, trying to get others sent off and generally being big girls. Also as role models to younger players it is being repeated in grass roots as they think this is acceptable.

I very rarely watch top league football, tending to watch lower league, while not as flambouant (if thats how you spell it) but you get a feel of how the game should be played

There got that off my chest!!

I agree with alot of what you said but Barca did get very "lucky" against Chelsea and Arsenal. Van Persie sent off, Drogba fouled 20 times etc
 
Sigh, another Anti Barca thread.

Yes they are the greatest team in the world, boasting the best players in the world. Yes they dive, and yes they cry to refs everytime there is a tackle.

How many other teams/players rolling around the floor crying foul, when there was hardly any contact. So do you hate all teams, because every team has them. I can go through every premier league team, and pick out atleast 1 player who play acts.

The spanish league is argugably the most technical in the gamem but to the geezer who said the Premier League is overrated, sort your life out. Its the most unpredictable and exciting league at the minute. 6 teams fighting for the title, and about the same trying to avoid relegation.
 
as a football fan we will talk about this barcelona team like people talk about the brazil teams that dominated the world cup they are not a hugely purchased team several players from the youth team!!! yeah there play acting is annoying and you wish they would man up some what but it happens in england too!!!

and as for english football not being good i could write for days on how good the games are end to end spurs vs stoke and arsenal man city to name to recent ones!!

this is why football is so great a debate on peoples views of the game :D
 
OK I don't want people misunderstand.

Messi and Barca are presently the best soccer player and team. They are still writing their history. But my point is that Barca style is quite boring (but it is still amazing and exceptionnal).

I just do not understand why they need to dive and simulate at every important games...


And I think that we all agree in the fact that we prefer football games in the 90's. More passionned players in their club thus more passion in games
