I cant sign youth, his name is faded??

I found this 15 year old youth playing for the england u19 his stats are really good, and he doesnt have a club, but i cant sign him? his name is faded when the rest of the players names are black.
Does any know how i can get him?

If a player is 'greyed out' that means he isn't an actual player, he's just made up to fill squad places, especially if you're playing with a small database.

Basically, those players are created automatically by the game to fill up a squad that may not be available to manage. According to their reputation is how good or bad the players will be.

For example, the nation football team of St. Pierre & Miquelon is not manageable in a normal database because it's not activated. The game then uses created players that are not available for purchase/loan/sale. Regardless of how good or bad his stats are, you'll never be able to sign them.

If you ever get a player like that in your own squad however, you are able to offer him a contract.
