Game no. 28 in La Liga.
We lost 1-0 to Real Madrid through an 88th minute goal by Sergio Ramos. We defended really well. Our attack was shocking though and there were zero shots on target. Some very poor football, sitting back in our own half not even trying to win. Sergio Ramos also missed a penalty early in the game, so that saved us. At least it was not a humiliation. That is the one saving grace.

Game no. 29 in La Liga
Real Betis drew 0-0 against Sporting Gijon. This was a welcome point. We played decently. We could have got 3 points, if Javier Saviola had not missed his penalty. Also Javier Eraso got a red card. Overall it was a good game of football.

Game no. 30 in La Liga
We beat Sevilla 1-0 in the derby. What a result and what a way to get it. An Adil Rami own goal made sure we got the desired result. And the fact that this result came out of a forced error pleased me a lot. Riza Durmisi's shot was deflected by Sevilla's Adil Rami and it went in the back of the net. We are close to securing survival for sure. And this win is a huge boost.

Oh and we got Sevilla's manager Jorge Sampaoli sacked. This is bad for Sevilla. However they will be looking for a new manager to get a tune out of the players.

Javier Saviola is out for 2-3 weeks as he has got a twisted ankle.

Game no. 31
It is a draw against Malaga. An Aissa Mandi own goal put Malaga ahead, they were reasonably dominant in the game. And then towards the end Ruben Castro scored through a lovely header. Joaquin put the cross in for Ruben Castro and he finished that chance. A good result at the end of the day.

Dani Ceballos has a pulled hamstring. It will keep him out for a couple of weeks.

He is decent, has not shown top level quality though. Felipe Gutierrez and Ruben Pardo are the ones who have put a shift in and sometimes scored incredible as well as important goals in my save so far.
 
Game no. 32 in La Liga
We have drawn 1-1 to Leganes. There are positives to take from the game. Nahuel Leiva was good, he scored in the 60th minute. We controlled the game for large periods but then Alexander Szymanovski scored a late equalizer to level the game. Either way, we are one step closer to avoiding relegation and I will take the point.

Also there is some really bad news, Ruben Castro has got torn ankle ligaments and will be injured for 7-9 weeks. He is Real Betis's top scorer so far this season. And it is a huge blow.

We lost 4-0 to Las Palmas. SHOCKING PERFORMANCE. An absolutely shocking performance. We made it way too easy for Las Palmas, they played us off the park. We have a lot of work to do to get our season back on track.
