I have no idea what I'm doing

​I have started a Hastings United save multiple times over the last few weeks tried many different tactics and signed different kinds of players but I can't seem to win games and I just can't seem to win games this obviously has an impact on the amount of fun I can have on the lower leagues. So I was just wondering whether some more experinced/better players tell me some of the stuff they do at the start of a lower league game?

I only ever start of down in the lower leagues - unemployed.
Could you give us some more details on your formation and staff.
I strongly advise sticking to a tactic that will suit the players at your club.
New tactics can take a while to get right. With lots of pre season friendlies, team cohesion. I find teams iv played with before are far better prepared for the long season ahead.
Chopping and changing tactics has never worked for me. Go through each player and find their best role/position and decide on 3 tactics (ie download from this forum). Work on team cohesion , and fitness.

Also a good scout with high JPA is helpful.

first thing you should do is setup an account at the official SI Games forum, then go to their tactics section, and read the top three pushpinned posts. They are three seperate guides to playing the game. The first guide contains basic information, the second guide contains intermediate level information and the third guide is super advanced.

I have been playing the game for 6 years and found all three to be incredibly helpful this year. Apply some of those principles to your save THEN come back, use some screenshots and describe your problem.
