I struggle against 4-5-1

Greetings,

I seem to get regular backroom advice stating that my team struggles against teams with 4-5-1 formation. I was playing a 3-4-1-2 and then a 3-5-2 formation but I still get this advice. Any ideas what tactic I should apply to deal with 4-5-1 opponents?

you should play 4-5-1 back

Have a defensive midfielder in place to man-mark the centre forward, with your wingers man-marking their wingers.

Then zonal marking across the whole team.
