Have you tried my documents or pictures? When you do it, you did open say paint or PowerPoint and do control c to paste them in didn't you?

Take a screenshot in game. Then when you close the game it shows them as thumbnails. Click the button on the bottom that says something along the lines of "Show on Harddisk" and it will take you to folder it has been saving them to.
