i thought that guides are for people who do not know a lot about FM and struggle to sucseed....i also think that those who struggle using Man City shouldnt play FM
 
Madness to sell De Jong. He is a beast if you use him as an anchor or ball winning midfielder.

No point in selling him.

Ps. I think the chairman of manchester city is Khaldoon Al Mubarak. :D

I disagree with you on the defence. Kolarov plays very well left defender, what I would recommend is buying a really good central defender because Lescott and Touré are experienced but their key stats aren't that good for a top team. I bought Shawcross on my save because he has a PA of 178 and he's been dominating the defence. Then you can choose whichever one you want to play as the other CB.

In midfield you really don't have a creative midfielder, so Paulo Henrique, Hamsik, or Pastore would be a good option as well.

In the attack I really don't like Adebayor, so I brought in Hulk to play with Tevez, but I could've gone with Cavani too. I've played with Dzeko so I don't know what to say about him.

Personally I would never ever sell De Jong, that would be foolish.

Also I would get rid of Balotelli pretty quick so at least you'll get a decent amount for him, it's only a matter of time before he gets the hump. On my save as of 2017 he's been to 4 more clubs being released from every single one.

Kolarov is class left back for me despite the criticism I see
