Went Arsenal, and in the first transfer market picked up Afellay for 2.1million! He is rated at 7million but Barcelona do not need him!

I'd say a must buy for most teams! Especially at such a cheap price

Yeah he was transfer listed for something similar t 1.7m but PSG had put a offer in so i decided 2.1m

I find he always starts the game transfer listed at £1.75m. Definately value for money on that price.

I bought him at Dortmund for 1.7 sold him 2 years later to ath Madrid 17mil

Completely agree. Just finished my AS Levels and begun a save with Arsenal (the team I support) and when I saw Afellay at that price, he was right there at the top of my shortlist of transfers. Half way through my first season and he's been very impressive albeit he's been plagued by two injuries that put him out for up to a month at a time.

If you have a team in a European competition at the start of the game you can guarantee you can pick him up for £1.7m. I usually play him either with as AP Attack and he's brilliant with goals and assists.
