Two more tactics, that have been highly polished, and close to finished. All TI's are used. Osram, based on Bayern in 2012-2013 and Tesla, based on Barcelona. Both are high pressing, Tesla is bent on possession, and Osram on counters. I haven't touched PI's and set pieces, and TI's are highly similar.

Hi Igneos, I like this approach.

I may try build a 5-3-2 based on your TI's, I'd like to try and build 3 tactics, one for games against big sides (like the Burnley results), one for away and even games (maybe a counter / possession tactic) and one for easy / home games (control possession).

Which of your templates (I will assign my own roles and duties accordingly) are best to work from?

well, Tesla and Osram should do you good. Both are highly stable in both home and away matches, but don't bother if you dont have the players required. I tested osram with Hannover, they have the perfect squad for it, and tesla with barcelona. It's important to stick to roles suggested in both the passion4fm and damien rice guide, so if you want perfection, you will probably get to same thing I got to. Formation is also important.

I'll give it a bash, I want to make a 5-3-2 work correctly, but not in a win every game 5-4 kind of way.

what kind of formation are we talking about? What 532? gimme the positions

GK, DCL, DC, DCR, WBR, WBL, MCL, MC, MCR, STL, STR

or a variation on that with an AMC instead of a MC, or a DMC instead of an MC

Well, thank you for making me brake my wits over this the last day. The conclusion is, 532 has 3 cms which would make it ideal for a high pressing game, so I have set my options accordingly. High pressing means playing on offside trap which means we can have an attacking minded midfield, so I have set everything accordingly. Lack of wingers means we should exploit the middle, so I have set this. Lack of wingers means it would be futile to try overload the flanks, even though we have wingbacks, making this a bad formation to use, but I have set everything accordingly. I havent lost a single game with barcelona, but you may have a lot of trouble with other teams. Anyway, here you go...

I will have a go, thanks. Not an easy formation to get right this one.
