Ideal settings

Starting a new game as I found it my last game I didn't have a whole lot of players. I've gone and ticked about 40 countries made them all view only so my performance is good but the player count went down. Does this mean I can't sign any of the players in view only countries?

What are the ideal settings I'm sure there's a link somewhere on here but couldn't find when I was searching through the forum...

You can sign players in view only. View only only loads the half of the country's players so set it as playable if you want. I think we don't have ideal settings on loading countries. And most important is, the more your scouting knowledge is, the more players will pop out.

just put whatever your computer can support and you are happy to play with...

i use large database, i load england spain and italian leagues (usually) then i load brazilian and argentine players in background.
