NEW THREAD - Attacking 4231!

--

attacking 4-2-3-1tactic with a good defence, goals come from everywhere, especially your striker. very effective when your team is fully familiar with it.

Vietto got 24 goals as a winger

i also tested it with Ajax and here the assistant manager lineup wasn't good but still loads of goals from team
20191211010554_1.jpg

with Lyon Dembele got 38 goals in 36 games
20191211182511_1.jpg

we lost the title to PSG by only 2pts and won of the cups, got knocked out of Europe A.Madrid

with Liverpool won almost everything only Chelsea beats in the FA cup on penalties otherwise would have been a clean sweep.

for some reason the assistant manager played Mane as the striker and he went on a tear got 55 goals in 66 matches.

i don't thinks this is a plug and play but a very good 4-2-3-1 where the front four will score goals. all of these tests i have gone on holiday so in my opinion you should be able to do better if you have the right players and the team is familiar with the tactic.

the biggest issue will face with this tactic is the amount of yellow cards you will get, in the Liverpool tests this was the amount of yellow cards

Robertson got 37 yellow cards, you reduce by simply taking off get stuck.

i haven't tested this tactic with smaller teams, with Real Betis who are expected to finish 9 got 6th so you can see its not like a Knap tactic that gets you top of the league, but still the striker still banged in the goals

also scored the most in the league

hopefully you guys can check it out and see if you can improve it more especially defensively

with my Aberdeen save we have been very good going forward and very good defensively, but we do have one of the better teams in the league, so far only Chelsea have beaten me this season, beat me both home and away in the Europa league

i leave most things to my assistant manger, for individual training i only sometimes use it if a players has a weakness in their game, you can try OI and see how it works for you i don't use them.

Tested it - no chance for winning games when watching. Got smashed by 2nd League Teams. Doesnt fit to me i think.

Hi kingabdi, could you remake this thread? For some reason it loaded a bit funny and we now have a few things that are prompted. Once done I'll remove this thread so we have the newer and more correct one :D

When you do can you use the below link

*Edit - I goofed, quoted the wrong person, but have amended*

Great tactic for me. Curzon Ashton, predicted 3rd bottom of Conference North, top after 5 games. 4 wins and then a loss, which was unlucky as we had 29 shots to their 8.

Will test with other teams to see if it is a one off!

Update to this. I think its probably still good though getting the usual FM'd! Played another 3 games, lost 2 of them and won 1. I lost 0-3 despite having 15 more shots. then lost 1-2. Conceded in the 98th min, there was only 5 added on! Then won 3-1 and smashed them.

With a good team this would probably rinse teams. Curzon Ashton are not good and still performing way above.
