Improvements for my Arsenal team?

I am in the second summer transfer window (So just after the 2011/12 season), I won the Premier League on goal difference on the last match of the season last time (Sound familiar??!!), I also won the FA Cup and lost in the final of the Champions League to Barcelona on penalties :'(

I would say I have a quite well balanced and strong team, which is also fairly young.

I have just less than £50m to spend, with £200k-a-week aswell.

P.S. In attack my team is lethal, scored in EVERY Premier League game last season!! But my Defence leaks goals, (I conceded the most out of the Top 8 in the league!!!)

Your squad is huge, think of offloading some deadwood like Bendter and Rosicky etc..

Yeah I know, last season I loaned out Rosicky/Arshavin/Enoh/etc. with a future fee but nobody bought them. Just accepted offers from Southampton and Wolves for Bendtner and Park, and a few of the others are going out on loan for quite high fee's with options to buy :D
 
I have a good defence if you look at the players, but as I said they were leaking goals.... made some tactical changes near the end of the season which let me go 5 games without conceding :D
 
Wow. Have never seen a squad that huge. How do you even meet the squad registration regulations.
 
Where do you actually want to strengthen ? You seem to have every area covered.
Also one reason you might be conceding could be because of the you every defender playing a different role in defence. Why not just have to FB's and make them more attacking to adjust it.
My opinion on offloading the players would be like this:
Sell - Mannone,Fabianski,Djourou,Santos,Rosicky,Arshavin and Bendtner
Loan - Jenkinson,Coquelin,Gibbs(if you keep santos),Sanogo.
Also definitely loan out Ramsey and the OX if they aren't gonna play rather than keep them in the reserves as their abilites seem to have dropped, same with Coutinho.

That is what I am saying, I don't know where to improve the team... We struggle against the big teams (Chelsea, Man city) and with such a large budget I want to bring in SOMEONE quality, but not sure where.

P.S. I am close to selling Koscielny for £10m, and am close to buying either Hummels or Chiellini for around £30m, which would you reccomend? Also, I have bought chicharito for £8m!! :D
 
Nooo why would you sell the BOSS. Did you see what I said about adjusting you're defensive player roles. You have very good defenders, If you adjust that you'll start conceding less. Hmm I've never had either but I'd definitely go for Hummels given from what I've seen others say about him. Damnn the assasin, he kills me nearly everytime I play him. But personally I'd say there isn't much point in bringing in Chicha because one of the best young poachers in the game already in you're squad - SANOGO.
 
As much I love Kos, I gotta admit Hummels/Chiellini are better than him (On the game at least!! :D)
Also, Man Utd just made a bid of £20m for the OX, can't decide wether to sell him?

I have sold Bendtner(£5m)/Fabianski(£1.5m Loan)/Santos(£5m)/Gervinho (£6m)
I am already trying to sell Rosicky/Arshavin/Djourou

Nobody will make loan bids for most of the young players like Gibbs/Ramsey/Walcott/Etc!!! :'(
 
Fair enuff. Letting the Boss go would hurt me lol Also 20M for The OX is nice but we wouldn't want to sell to Man U again surely ? But it just depends on whether you want him to stay develop more. You could probably use him one more season help him develop and sell him for even more. Nooo not gervinho aswell ! Should've offloaded Theo instead.
For loaning have you offered them for a loan offer ? Or just set them on loan ? What I try is to sometimes change their role to rotation/Backup/Hot prospect to help them getting loaned out. But be sure not to put a player who's a key player down to backup because he aint gonna be too happy.

Walcott has been amazing for me and my GB team as a poacher, whereas Gervinho doesn't really fit into my formation (he isn't even slightly a striker on FM!!)

And it isn't the players saying no, no one is making offers when I offer him to clubs...
 
you have too many great players on your team..more than half of them will start declining because of lack of games
 
Wow. Well, I'm definitely never going to pick on my brother for HIS squad sizes. You have to have the largest first team I've ever seen.

I don't get how it is that large? Most of the players aren't actually part of the first team, just reserve player sI have brought up and set as available for the reserves? Also, now in mid september, I have only 1 first team CB (Mertesacker) So am having to use Miquel and Jenkinson :L Only position definatly have too much for is Striker...

Plus I still have the 6th lowest wage bill in the Prem, and made profit last season...
