improving shooting

how do i improve shooting ? ... i use Raikan007's training ... but last match i 35 shots with 8 on target and no goals i dont have bad strikers neymar,hulk,lucas,chicarito

any tips

Reduce the number of long shots your players are allowed to take.

Work ball into box will make the shooting ratio high? In my opinion this reduces shots in general.. players simply pass more instead of shooting and they try to carry the ball almost to the goal. Am I wrong? When I use this option my players usually have less shots.
