Just post what you would like to see added to the rules of football,although they must be realistic of course.I am talking about IRL if you didn't know.
One rule what I would like to see is a transfer window for sacking managers,this would give managers more time to turn bad results around.
 
Players having to leave the pitch after they have been treated and having to wait for the ref to give him permission to come on.A Totally stupid rule that should be abolished.
 
More strict bans on diving and when fans of a club do something wrong they should be punished, not the club, e.g Livingston being relegated to the Scottish third division
 
A window for managers to be sacked is pointless... It makes it unfair on the club if the current manager is absolute rubbish and they can't get rid of him..

Well it's the clubs fault for appointing a rubbish manager then isn't it? It's ok if you appoint a world-class manager but he fails you,then that is what the window is for
 
alex ferguson retiring would improve the game lol
 
The yellow card for taking you shirt off or hugging the crowd is absolute rubbish.

i actually like the new rule that is going to be tried the 1 with a ref behind the goal
 
no transfer window, just buy when you want, would stop stupid panick buys on deadline day, and would allow clubs near debt to sell, b4 it is too late
 
I don't think I agree with all the technology being used idea because I think the mistakes,the errors and the controversy is what makes football;football
 
u wont be sayin that wen sum1 scores against hull last minute when it didnt go over the line

a rule that get used in rugby and could be in football is the blood sub and the sin bin i think they could work in football
 
I will say that because the mistakes work both ways against and for teams
 
I don't really like Alan Suger but he made a good point the other day. Football clubs are Businesses these days whether we like it or not and it is the only business where you have a certain time to buy and sell assets, so no more transfer window for me.

Also i would prefer the extra offical behind the goal rather than technology, they way i see it is take the Lampard goal in the world cup do i think a man behind the goal would see it... Yes i do.

I don't like Blatter one bit and have more reason to hate him more than others but i would also like to see a salery cap what can 250 grand a week buy you what 100 cant????
 
1. Stop the clock when the ball goes out of play.
2. Reduce matches to 60 minutes.

i also have another fault with the game and its something that really annoys me. Why do we keep seeing these professional footballers take corners and freekicks and never beat the first man???? I used to take corners and it really isen't that hard.

I've often wondered why direct freekicks are quite frequently dreadful. Surely if you're paid to be a professional footballer, then you could spend enough time at training to master the art of placing the ball in the correct spot from a dead ball situation?

I'd like to see sin bins introduced for yellow cards, like in rugby. As the current system is, the team that is opposing the yellow carded player does not get the advantage they deserve, and in the case of suspensions for yellows, then a random team gets the benefit that should have been given to the other team. Bit tricky to explain, but I'm trying to say that with sin bins then the correct team gains the advantage from the foul play.

I'd like to see diving dealt with more harshly as well. The problem is that referees are too scared to book players for simulation because they'll look bad if they are wrong.

Another thing I'd like to see is managers being banned from criticising referees after matches. The referees don't get the opportunity to criticise the manager's tactics, so why should it work the other way around? I think football should penalise abuse of referees by players using the system in rugby. Any dissent is penalised by moving the freekick 10 yards further forwards, and possibly a yellow card. Only the captains would be allowed to speak to the referee on behalf of his players. This would hopefully increase the respect players have for the referee.

Final change I'd like to see is that if a player is injured, then they should immediately be taken off the field an play continued. More accurate time-keeping would ensure that the correct period of injury time would be added. Hopefully this would discourage feigning injuries. Or, as Lee said, stopping the clock when the ball is out of play (again a rule used in rugby) would work.
