I don't really like Alan Suger but he made a good point the other day. Football clubs are Businesses these days whether we like it or not and it is the only business where you have a certain time to buy and sell assets, so no more transfer window for me.

The problem with this is that it could destroy all 'competition' coming from medium to small sized clubs. For example, if Chelsea or Man City (only using them as they are owned by billionaires) were fighting for the title with 3 or 4 games to go against a team of lesser finance they could buy up that teams best players, making it easier to claim the title themselves. Same in Europe -- paired against an overperforming team from a lesser league in Semi-Finals and buy their best players. You'd also be giving players the opportunity to jump ship whenever a team goes a mini losing streak.

i also have another fault with the game and its something that really annoys me. Why do we keep seeing these professional footballers take corners and freekicks and never beat the first man???? I used to take corners and it really isen't that hard.
