So I'm playing fm since 2012, I play football by myself on a decent niveau and i'm loving football for the tactical game. I think that you can win with less players and a good tactic. I'm really impressed to see Bayern Munich play in the 4-1-4-1 formation this year, so I start to build something on FM.
I started with a really basic formation 4-1-4-1 standard/fluid
*short passing
*high tempo
*exploit the flanks
*pass into space
*stay on feet
*hassle opponents
Sweeper keeper (support): play ball to defense (ppm: don't use weaker food)
Full back Support (support): play short, hassle opponents more (ppm: run inside, stay on feet tackling)
-> a lot of people will say, Bayern don't play with full back, they play with complete ore with attacking full back. Well if you see how their playing alaba and rafinha most of the time they are comming under a wide playing robben ore ribery
Central defender: direct passing
-> well if you saw bayern playing most people will say they play more short passing, with this they will still play more short passing but because the wingers are going wide to make space for 1 ore 2 central midfielders their is a lot of space and they will play the ball into that gap
Halfback: Short passing (ppm: come to get ball deep, dictate tempo, stay on feet tackling
-> it's clear this is the martinez role ore busquets role - you will say alcantara is playing their now but im sure in big games he will choice for martinez
1 CM (support) : short passing, roam (ppm: comes late in sixteen, dictate tempo, stay on feet tackling)
-> this role is a bit more complex. If you are the stronger team you can let him roam from position. Why i my choice is CM because he is going more to press on the flanks as a Advanced playmaker. If you saw sweini playing in bayern it's sure that he always is pressing the flanks..
1 advanced plamaker (short passing, roam, play much more forward (ppm: search for threw ball, comes late in sixteen)
-> this is the gotze role playing as cm but when they have ball amc ore even second striker is going wide to support wingers (same as Full back) then you will see their is more space for other side winger to come in space also the Striker has more space
2 defensive winger (support)
lay against line, wide play (ppm: running in space, short passing)
-> i think the wingers of bayern are working as ****, this is why bayern is so dangerous they are playing against the line, the cm and fb is comming in support -> their is so much space for striker and other wing to come in
STriker is false9 but the best is targetman: falso 9 you will have more possession but the targetman is playing with his back to goal and then their is even more space to run in and he will be back for the cross from wide man
This was my main thought of bayern playing and setting up it. I thought i need to change more after i saw a lot of games. But im half saison with liverpool only bought in shaw but no moses,cissoko.. Also played with ibe,rossiter,chirivella a lot of games and it's doing great.
some games i lose with bad luck but im in 2nd place and i think i have around 11 games already with zero goals against.. and around 55-60% possession
