Increase In Players Stats

I have some good young up and coming players and was just wondering at what point in a season can you notice an increase in their stats? I remember in the older football managers they would go up at the end of each season? Anything like that on fm2013?

they go up as they go up, i have my coaches compile monthly reports on training which identify who is developing well. there is also a tick box on player attribute screen that you can check to see stat development

Indeed, there isn't a set time that they go up/down, they just do so throughout the course of the season. As seacow mentioned, you should keep the box ticked at the top right of the player's attribute screens to see recent increases/decreases.
