Has anyone been able to make India a competitive footballing nation?

I doubt I'll do a FM12 save on it, but with such a huge population and huge stadiums, it would seem that the potential is there if you could build up their reputation.

It's a pretty interesting idea, but it seems like the game might not allow it. Without good TV revenue, which I imagine is linked to reputation, you'd be relying on tickets for much of the income in the first 5 or so seasons. Presumably there are very few (if any?) clubs with an affluent fanbase. Filling a large stadium with people paying very little for a ticket might not be that profitable.

Would love to be proved wrong though!
