Just wondering if when a player recieves a "knock" but there fitness doesnt drop does it affect there performance during the match ? I ask becuase the last few matches torres has picked up knocks and has failed to score in any of the matches

Of course it does. They can't play well if they aren't at full fitness. It's a no-brainer.

another question, if you have a good player say rooney at 60% is it better to bring on a worse player like macheda if he has 100% fitness
I usually try and have fit players on the pitch rather than knackered stars

i would say it's better to play macheda as it lessons the risk of the knock turning into an injury and it gives macheda game time so he can develop a bit and it also makes sure there is still some competition for places.
