Inside Forwards Vs Advanced Playmakers.

I'm currently working on an Andre Villas-Boas inspired 4-3-3 (4-5-1,4-1-2-2-1 however you see it) and I chose to play with 2 Inside forwards or 1 and a Left Winger. I ofcourse want to make this tactic as good as possible and have heard that Advanced playmakers are more effective on the wing than inside forwards?

Any answers would be appreciated..

I always find with a quality inside forward, they play amazing. Although Ive not tried a playmaker there though

It depends. If you have a good finisher on the wing - think Hulk - then inside forward is your best bet. However, if the player is very creative but not a lethal finisher - think Hazard - then it may be a better option to play him as a playmaker.
