installation problem

when i install the game from the cd, it looks like its working but then at the end says there have been a few errors and i should read the installation log (which i cant see).

now there is no fm11.exe file anywhere so the game wont start, tried re-installing again but got the same result.

any ideas on what could be wrong or how i can get the game started without the .exe file?!

Sounds like your disk might be corrupted. You have two options:
1. Activate your copy via Steam and let it download the game instead of using the disk
2. Return the disk and get another copy

My Computer - (C)(Hard drive/local disk) - Program Files - Sports Interactive - Football Manager 2011 - there should be an application called 'fm' in there. (it's around 32 mb in size)
Just double-click that and FM should work.

went to that folder and all that's there is 3 folders, db, games and sounds and they are all empty.

gonna attempt uninstall reinstall once more.

I doubt the game itself is corrupted? Surely that doesnt happen too often....

Did the can you run it test and passed on everything...
