Instant result button not making subs?

I don't know if this is just me but when I decide to do an instant result IE Cup matches against lower sides, I've noticed there are never any substitutions made during the match, am I the only one having this issue and is there any way to fix it?

This is on the full manager mode and not classic, I downloaded the instant result button skin from another site.

It doesn't work on FMC either. Has been reported several times on SI forms but still not fixed (not even a reply from SI yet either)

Just to update, now the game has officially released and is no longer in beta, this issue has still not been addressed.

The subs work perfectly fine for me on instant result (FMC). You can set it up so that you actually make the change at a certain time aswell.

The custom skin version doesn't allow custom tactics, hence why I only really use it for cup games.
