Instant Result vs Vacation

Is there any difference between be on vacation and click on instant result before a match?

I set the same tactic and no match plan on both. In theory is the same thing, right?

The problem is that I have pretty good results on instant result and horrible on vacation.

Ive tested it in many situations, same team, same season. On instant result I reached even the top with a team that was expected on 20th position and on vacation I got fired.

I guess that on vacation even if I set to use the current tactic the ***. manager change the entire formation after the game starts and on instant result he doesnt move anything.
