Inter Milan - Bring back the Golden Times.

inter-milan.gif

On the first of July, Inter Milan has announced Estonian Aleksander Algo to be their new manager after a disappointing season under Jose Mourinho's management. Who would have thought it ? A completely new level in Estonian football.
An Estonian walking into the great Giuseppe Meazza.
A whole new chapter in Estonian, and of course Inter's history.

After first training in Milan, I noticed some brilliant players who, with a little bit of strengthening to the squad could challenge for the Champions League title.

Wesley Sneijder

Wesley_Sneijder_516419a.jpg

The Dutchman, who was signed from Real Madrid for 13 mil in 2008 seems to be good addition to our squad

Samuel Eto'o

Samuel-Eto%27o415.jpg

Cameroonian, who arrived at Meazza in 2008 as a part of exchange for Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic has proved his name with leading his team to the semi-finals of UEFA Champions League.

Julio Cesar

32106.gif

One of the world's best goalkeepers who has 3 years left of his contract which he concluded in 2006 after arriving from Chievo, for a fee of 2.3 mil, now he costs 22 mils.

Maicon

Strong Brazilian right-back who arrived here for 6 mil fee from AS Monaco.

Trivia :
City : Milano
Founded : 1908
Stadium : Giuseppe Meazza
Biggest Rivals : AC Milan

Season Expectation:
Serie A : Win
Champions League : Semi finals

Transfer Budget : 16,5 mil

YEEEEES!!!!!!!!!! An Inter Milan story :) I really hope that you can bring some success to Inter, really. I will DEFINITELY follow. Good luck, and may the force be with you (yeah, I'm lame...) mate :D

Yeah finally an Inter story! Will follow as well (H)

I've got a Inter Milan save, only on the 2nd season, but I'm always them on FM. To be honest I would not go wasting your money of big name player's or anything like that ( If you where planning to ) You should invest in some good young players.

The team you have at the moment is by far good enough to win every competition you are in.

Good Luck.

Good luck, whenever i play as the top team i make a pledge, only allowed to buy 1 player over the age of 23, forces me to get youth in, get babacar, lukaku and n'koulou

Inter triumph as they beat Lazio 2-0 in Super Cup final.

Inter have retained the Italian Super Cup after 2-0 win over Lazio at National Olympic Stadium "Bird's Nest".

Inter sign few youngsters to complete the squad for the season

Inter sign Rafael Toloi, Diego Buonanotte, Yaya Sanogo, Stephan El Shaaraway and Marco Veratti to complete the squad as their new manager Aleksander Algo says. Quite an old and experienced squad has been given some freshness now as Inter spent total 15.25 mil on them.
Inter also got some money from selling Riqardo Quaresma to Arsenal for 7.5 mil.

toloi.jpg

Rafael Toloi - Young Brazilian under 21 squad center-defender who Algo wants to keep as rotation for Inter's 30+ defender who quickly gets tired.

f5qua.jpg

Yaya Sanogo - 16 year old striker with great future, but at present to unexperienced, so going to reserves, just for few months.

diego+bounanotte.jpg

Diego Bounanotte - Signed for first team, 21 year old Argentinian to support guys like Sneijder, Pandev and Balotelli on the attack, as he is attacking left midfielder

Marco Veratti - 16 year old attacking midfielder.Just signed because of his really promising future. At present going for reserves for few moths.

Stephan El Shaaraway - 16 year old promissing right-attacking midfielder. Signed for 2.5 millions from Genoa.

Will it be Barcelona? Will it be AC Milan to face Inter in group stages of Uefa Champions League?

This all will be known in next 30 minutes.

Group Stages Drawn !

Expected as the most interesting matches will happen right over-next wednesday as AC Milan travel to Bernabeu and Inter take on FC Bayern at Giuseppe Meazza.
As well Arsenal is facing a tough challenge as they take on Girondins Bordeaux at Emirates.
With Barcelona linked as favourites of the competition, main contenders will also be Chelsea, Manchester United, AC Milan and Real Madrid
Liverpool will be expected to be walk through their group with ease, but CSKA Moskow is lso capable to provide a suprise on those two Tuesdays clash.

Inter's last gasp transfers sealed the squad for the season.

Inter have signed two new players at total of 29.5 mil.
Portuguese Miguel Veloso to support Esteban Cambiasso on the midfield. Signing arrived Giuseppe for 13.5 mils from Sporting Lisbon.

miguel-veloso-to-manchester-city.jpg

Welcome Miguel !

Another signing was Schalke's 23 years old defender Rafinha. Despite the fact, that Rafinha is a right-back, Algo is looking to train him suitable to play on the left.
This transfer has caught the most of headlines, because 18 year old Italian wonderkid Davide Santon and experienced Romanian powerhouse Christian Chivu are now left as rotations.

Probably going to be great rivalry between these three. Thought long before signing Rafinha. Hope he will be on he top of his game.
Anyways, welcome Rafinha!

Inter haven't only signed, but they have also sold their ex-vice-captain Ivan Cordoba. Man who has spent ten years at Inter, is now a part of Bayern Munich's defensive-line. Inter bought Cordoba from Argentinian league champions San Lorenzo for a fee of 14 millions.

Bye Ivan ! Don't score against us in Champions League !;)

OK, my signing table now.

Full house in Allianz forced to watch as Inter trash Bayern.

Hoped miracles, which didn't come... Big hopes on " Robbery " crashed as Bayern go down to Inter 0-3 at home.

Experienced goalkeeper Hans-Jörg **** was left red-faced in the 22nd minute as he managed to put the ball into his own net after a backpass from ex-Inter player Ivan Cordoba.
Diego Milito doubled the lead on the 47th minute with a screamer from 30 yards. Eto'o then sealed it with a header on the 77th minute.
