Injury Table :

AC Milan : Pato is the only injury problem for AC, but what a big problem. The target man who has scored 9 goals in last 15 games, is vital for Milan. Now the main problem for AC is, who will their manager Leonardo pair up with Ronaldinho in the front. Is it Huntelaar, Borriello or anyone else ? We'll see.

Inter Milan : Inter's problems are almost exactly the same. Cambiasso the only man injured. Who will Inter replace him with ? This summer's big 13.5 mil signing Veloso hasn't shown his skills this season and is obviously off form. Nobody really believes that Algo trusts Muntari in this job because Algo transfer listed him this summer and Sneijder is probably playing on the wing. We'll get answers to our questions tomorrow.

As transfer market now globaly re-opened, it's time for our special program to look over some of the worst and best transfers made this summer.

England - One of the best certanly Clarence Seedorf. Chelsea bought him from AC Milan for 6.25 mil, and in 18 apperances he has scored 5 goals and gave 6 assists. Chelsea's manager Carlo Ancelotti has generally made very good transfer season. Two ex-Hoffenheim players, Demba Ba and Chinedu Obasi, have both made quite a good season. Demba Ba, bought to Chelsea with 14 mil has scored 7 goals in last 8 apperances ! Obasi tho, bought for 13 mil has scored 4 in last 8 apps.
Manchester United, the other major English transfer giant, bought three players, for total of 44 mil. Starting with Filipe. 14.75 mil buy has been in superb form, with 15 games played and 3 goals and 3 assists made. With average raiting of 7.15, he was part of Barclays Premier League season XI. The other boughts of Red Devils were Kim Kallstrom from Lyon for 13.25 mil, and Brede Hangeland from Fulham for 13.75.

Unhappy Thiago Motta requests a transfer from Algo

Could this man be leaving from Italy's league leaders ? 27 year old Thiago Motta told the press that he might be leaving the club because of his less play-time lately.
There are already several clubs interested in this experienced central-midfielder, including Werder Bremen, Bayern Munich and Lazio.
Inter's manager Aleksander Algo has already taken some big steps departure of Motta leaving. On the basis of The Italian Football Daily, Inter has made a bid for Slovakian 22 year old midfielder Marek Hamsik. He states that 'Hamsik would suit our game-play superbly' according to the Italian Football Daily. Hamsik, who is currently valued at 6.5 mil, has made 16 apperances for his national team Slovakia and has scored 3 goals so far.

Can we see this midfielder running on the field next month wearing black and blue shirt ?

Injury gamble for Inter before Coppa Italia quarter final against city rivals AC Milan

Unavailable : Inter : It is certainly one of the hardest matches of the season, without two main strikers, left - and centre midfielder. Inter's left-midfielder Diego Bounanotte is unavailable due medical reasons untill June, and that isn't the thing to worry about the most, cause there are Sneijder, Pandev and Balottelli available to replace him. Big worries are Eto'o and Milito missing due injury for Milito and Eto'o - He is representing Cameroon for Africa Nations Cup Group D match against Mali. However, arguably the biggest deficit for Inter is their main midfielder Cambiasso missing due an injury, which supposedly is going to hold him away of the pitch for 2 weeks.

Predictable squad :

There is also possibility, that because of less strikers Inter is going to play 4-5-1.

AC Milan : This team has much less stuff to worry about. Alongside the minus that AC has to play in front of Inter's supporters, there are few injuries to concentrate on. First of, Italy's 68 time international Andrea Pirlo has to watch the game from the grandstands, because of an torn hamstring injury. Team's captain Massimo Ambrosini is also out with an injury, leaving AC Milan less options in the midfield.

5th min Defour to Ronaldinho, Ronaldinho comes forward through the left flank, crosses, Gattuso gets his head on it ! Corner. Defour with a nice ball to Pato, header by Pato ! Zanetti headed the ball clear. Thiago Silva got it there, crosses ... Sneijder closes and intercepts it ! Plays a beautiful through ball to Sanogo ! One - on - one already on the half-way line ! Sanogo runs with it ! Surely has to be a goal ! And he puts it comfortably past Abbiati and the scoreline is 1-0 !!!

45+1 min One minute added and referee whistles the first half ended. Sanogo's goal was the difference between these two teams at the half-time.

51 min Gattuso holds onto Miguel Veloso's shirt and gets a yellow card !

55 min Borriello on for Huntelaar.

61 min Zambrotta one two with Defour, back to Defour, Defour volleys it to Borriello, Borriello with a chance just on the edge of the box ! Shoots it .... ooohhh just couple of inches wide !

61 min Bonera comes on for Zambrotta

66 min Marco Borriello picked up Defour's excellent through ball ! Borriello advanced with the ball ! Shot on goal .... and Cesar holds onto it !

66 min Bonera tripped Balotelli. Yellow card for that !

70 min Inter brought a fresh pair of legs on. Verratti on for Zanetti.

71 min Corner for Inter. Sneijder to take it. High it goes and Lucio jumps the highest ! Guides it to the down corner !! Abbiati manages to somehow parry it.

77 min Bonera tripped Balotelli. He already has a yellow card under. It's second yellow and an early bath for Bonera ! Red Card !

80 min Corner for Inter Milan. Sneijder again with a fantastic out-swinging cross ! Lucio the highest again ! Lucio forced the ball goalwards with an header ! Ball changes direction from Defour's head ! Abbiati somehow got his fingertips there but not enough !
Defour's own goal and 2-0 the scoreline ! Ten men AC Milan back 2-0 against arch rivals Inter Milan ! It has to be it ! If there's not some miracle coming out from AC Milan then the game is done !

85 min Sanogo tripped by Nesta. Yellow for Nesta !

90+2 The final whistle goes and Inter is through to the semi-finals of Coppa Italia ! Now all they have to do is wait till they find out their opposition from the game between Roma and Juventus later today ! I am Steve McMaihund and have a great day !

They know they have now very little chances to snap the Serie A title before Inter. Next match between those two arch rivals will take place at San Siro in March. We'll see it more clearly then who's got the best chances of winning the title this year. But one is clear - AC Milan is disappointingly out of Coppa Italia title race.
