Rollinson resigns as Juventus Manager

Rollinson Quits.PNG

Breaking news coming out of Juventus is that iconic manager Jordan Rollinson has resigned from his role as manager. The news comes just days after the iconic manager won both the Serie A title, and the Champions League final also. Juventus topped the league with 92 points, and beat Arsenal in the final of the Champions League. The 42 year old manager decided to call time on his managerial career, and is reportedly looking to takeover a club using the fortune he has amassed over his management career. It is rumoured that he has a budget of around £70M, and is looking for help from his team from FM-Base in purchasing and running a club.

Rollinson Managerial Profile

Career History.PNG

Rollinson started his career at the bottom of the chain, taking a job at Irish side Wexford. He only spent a season there, after catching the attention of Shelbourne after winning the league with Wexford. He then won the SSE Airtricity Premier League in 2022, before moving onto China in 2023. In China, he didn't manage to win a trophy, but did manage to finish runner up in the Ping An CFA Super League.

He then took his first job in his native England, with a job at then Championship side Luton. He managed to take them from 20th in December, to 6th and got promoted to the Premier League via the playoffs. After being given only a small budget, and a squad at league one standard at best, the team got off to a poor start to the season.

Norwich then came along and offered him a job, but life in the premier league continued poorly, and ended up being sacked in 2027.

After a short break, he then returned to the Premier League with Brighton, and had a much better time there. After pulling them from the relegation zone in December, he pulled them up to 12th in his first season. In the second season, he managed to finish in 6th, getting Brighton into the Europa League.

His final job was at Juventus, where he showed just how great a manager he was. In the 6 seasons at Juventus, he won the Serie A title 5 times, as well as winning the Champions League twice and the Europa League once.

He also had international stints at Ivory Coast, England and South Korea.

How to Play

Anyone is welcome to get involved with this, and can drop in and out whenever they like. The format for this game will be done as a voting system. Voting on things such as which club we will buy, our transfer budgets, manager confidence etc. I will put up what we are voting on, and I will make a poll and we will see how far we can take a club.

I will be putting together a list of clubs available to purchase shortly.

We will also be putting our manager as the assistant manager using the FMRTE, but holidaying and letting him do the matches, as well as giving him control of pretty much everything.

So we have £73M available to purchase a club. I have negotiated with the below clubs, and they are willing to sell to us.

Available Clubs

Real Valladolid
LaLiga123 - Price £20M (Debt £10M)
Current Manager: Francesco Acerbi
Stadium Capacity: 26,512

Real Valladolid finished in 5th this season, missing out on promotion to LaLiga via the play-offs. They have been hoping between the two leagues recently. Getting promoted and relegated every season from the 21/22 to the 27/28 season. They then spend 3 season in LaLiga, finishing in mid-table, before getting relegated in the 31/32 and staying in LaLiga123 ever since.

Managerless Paris FC are currently sitting in the Domino's Ligue 2 division. Like Pescara, they have pretty much spent the last decade in mid table in the division. They closet they came to promotion was in the 29/30 season, where they lost in the playoffs

Crawley Town have had some highs and lows in recent history. In the 23/24 season, they were relegated to League 2, and spent 3 seasons there after getting promoted in 26/27. They won another promotion to the Championship the following season, and spent a year in the championship, before getting relegated in the 29/30 season. They then got back to the Championship after getting promoted in 32/33, before getting relegated the following season. This season they finished poorly in 14th.

So they are all the clubs currently that are interested in selling. Have a read through and decide which one you would like to buy. We can also chose to wait and see if any other clubs become available in the future.

Remember to vote on the poll above. Whichever one has the most votes on Friday 17th at 8pm will be the club we continue the story with.

Just fixed the managers so you should be able to click on them to view the image bigger.

Thank you all for your votes! Still one more day until the voting closes.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask

Gotta vote for the mighty Crawley!!! Really interesting concept too

Its surprisingly close so far! Poor Pescara have 0 votes as of right now.

Not much longer now until the poll closes. I'm having to work a little late tonight, so it might not be until around 10/11 that it closes, so there is still plenty of time to get your vote in

FM-Base take over Crawley Town

1579346848850.png

FM-Base have today announced that they have purchase League 1 side Crawley Town in a deal thought to be worth around £20M. The club are currently managerless after sacking previous manager Richard Clarke after a poor run of form in the previous season. This does mean that the new owners will have a clean slate to work with, enabling them bring in any manager they want.

There are exciting time ahead for Red Devils fans, with the new owners thought to be willing to invest heavily in the club in order to move them up the leagues.

Apologies for the lack of update I've been ill over the last few days. Will get this going soon
