Hi, this is basically a thread where you can talk about international football around the world. One team i really want to see qualify is New Zealand, and a team i really don't want to qualify is Argentina, I hope Uruguay beat them this wednesday to get that last qualifying place. I also think that Bosnia deserve their place in the play-offs as they played a lot better than Turkey (they beat us 7-0.... although its not that hard lol) and disagree with people who say it was a fluke them getting to the play-off place.

So what about your opinions on football around the world?
 
I want Argentina to crash and burn too. I despise the Argies.
 
republic of ireland will qualify :D

i want in the qualifiers the teams not be seeded because it would make it more exciting

yh, say you had 3 top quality teams in one group, (say, Spain,Netherlands and Germany) it would be very interesting to see who would come out on top.
 
I want maradona to get sacked, and I take over as manager, would definitely pick better squads than he has.
But i want them to get through :P
 
Before Maradona was appointed I had them as favourites to win the Cup. Now, I almost want them to not qualify as I really hate Maradona with a passion. You can scour the earth for 100 years and not find as despicable a person as him.

I must say I have high hopes for Spain to break 76 years of disappointment and for England to be bitterly disappointed yet again. Hopefully Denmark can have a good showing, too, but I fear we'll get a harsh draw again.
 
with the qualifiers it would be intresting and like san marion, faroe islands, anddorra all in the same group
 
we need stephen ireland and andy reid in the middle

Don't kid yourself, Portugal are still a quality side. Our "Miracle in Lisbon" was just so unbelievably, and that's their only loss. They need only finetuning and they're back to full strength. And now they have Liedson, a decent striker who can actually get them goals!

yes, indeed, we're just not delivering, we're not playing football enough, and the fact that that lousy scum carlos queiroz made ronaldo the captain makes me sick, so as the "star-syndrom" deco appears to show now, never runs, ball on his feet, trying things that just dont make sense.. But yes, if we get on the right track i dont think there are too many teams capable of stopping us (H) im purely counting on Simãozinho :)
 
Simao is insane, I can't believe Quieroz made Ronaldo captain, sounds a bit too much McClaren who tried to pally with the England players, at Quieroz knows that he can go back to doing BCC interviews for United on motd if he fails.
 
i want argentina and bosnia & herzegovina to go through.
