International Withdrawals

I have withdrawn players from international friendlies and ever since the player has never been recalled to the international team. I have now taken over that team and I am unable to call up the player that i withdrew over 2 years ago, it says International Status: Withdrawn from international duty. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance

It's a bug. The only known way to fix it is using FMRTE.

Does anyone have any idea how? FMRTE doesn't seem to have an obvious option for it, and on the forums some one said this isn't even possible. Any thoughts?

Had same problem with Diego Polenta at Everton took over in 2015 is now 2020 and he was withdrawn in 2014 never been recalled simply says withdrawn from the squad. Using FMRTE you could place him in the international squad apart from that I'm not sure
